About Me

Hello!

My name is Kathryn and I am a photographer with one year (and counting) of experience based in the Bay Area. I started taking photos at the start of COVID and my passion for photography has continued to grow. I have photographed a number of weddings, engagement photo sessions, proposals, maternity and family photo sessions. I am currently working on growing my portfolio.

While COVID 19 was a difficult time for all of us a little positive came out of this. The virus is essentially the reason I began photography. School was online giving me plenty of opportunities to join my dad who is a professional photographer on many different jobs. 

​

       

I was able to learn quickly and I was gaining experience in a variety of situations. For example I've been to a complicated multi-day Indian wedding where I had to give significant and quality coverage of the various activities, ceremonies, and events. I also have photographed countless proposals where I only have seconds to get it right and capture the moment.

​

       

A few fun facts about me are that I have two cats named Benji and Mickey. I also have a habit of baking in the middle of the night so in the morning my family wakes up to a mess in the kitchen but also some tasty treats. All jokes aside my family is the most important thing to me and they have continued to support me through my photography journey.
